Maybe it was fate or maybe it was just weird luck but Eva and Kraven when to a town called Bon Temps. It was small and quiet. Prefect for hiding from those that were looking for Eva. Before they settled in Kraven had brought a house little did they know the house was next to a crazy woman that had parties almost every night.
Eva sat on a box inside the room that would be hers. She looked around wondering where she was going to put her dogs and cats toys, beds and her science stuff. Toto was her German Shepard he was her first pet that was brought back home. Then there was Sparky her Pomeranian he was just hyper as could be and drove her uncle up the wall. Then she had two kittens she got on the way there. Shrek and Fiona. When Eva was walking around Kraven walked in.
"So, how do you like the room?" He asked her.
"It's nice but I need my lab. Did you find a lab for me to work at?" She asked him.
Kraven nodded "I got you a place in Shreveport. You can get a car and drive there." He handed her the card to go buy a car.
Eva smiled and set the kittens down and headed out the door.
When she got to the car dealership she already knew what she wanted when she got there. It just stood there calling out to her. A multi color Hippy van.
"Sir, I would like to buy that van." She told him. The man smiled. He motioned her to follow him. Eva had everything her drivers licences and the money. She couldn't wait to get in and drive around town to check out the places.
It took a hour for everything to finish. Eva got into the van and started to drive off. She rode around town looking at all the new people she would soon get to know. She drove up to a bar and grill called Merlotte's. She stopped but then decided to drive back home. Her Uncle would be asleep and well she wanted to make sure the dogs and the cats were ok.
When she drove down the street she saw her neighbor sitting outside talking with a bald fellow. Eva thought maybe she should meet her neighbor. She parked her van and walked over to them.
"Hello?" The woman with almost black brown hair turned around and smiled big.
"Yes, can I help you?" She asked.
"I'm your new neighbor. I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Eva Vu." Eva held out her hand.
"I'm Maryann Forrester. Wonderful to meet you dear. Do come in. Have a drink with me." She motioned Eva to follow her. Eva smiled and followed her. When Eva finally got a good look at the woman she could tell there was something about her that seemed really familiar. She couldn't place it but it was there.
"So, Where are you from? What would you like to drink?" Maryann asked as she poured herself a bloody Mary. Eva wasn't sure what to say.
"Could I just have water? And I come from Hungry." She told her.
Maryann smiled big her eyes lighting up. "I have a sister that lives there. Do you know a Ursula?" She asked her.
Eva froze she didn't know what to say. That was her mother's name. "Oddly enough.....my mother was named Ursula." When Eva said that Maryann stopped pouring her water and looked at her. She wasn't smiling anymore. But she wasn't mad she was thinking. What she was thinking she didn't know.
"What was your father's name if you don't mind me asking?" Maryann asked her voice was serious and stern. It was like the woman already knew Eva's answer.
"His name was Levi. They both died when I was 4." Eva said.
Maryann looked at the girl hard unsure what to say. Maryann had a niece it seemed. One her sister never told her about and she was finding this out from a little girl who droved up to her house in a hippy van.
"Prove it." Maryann said crossing her arms. Eva could feel the danger in her voice. Eva got up and stood there for a moment turning...That was then before she could move Maryann pinned her against the wall. "If you are my niece...then show me something that would make me believe." Maryann let Eva go. Eva ran out of the house and to her van. Maryann was right behind her watching her. Eva droved off as fast as she could. Even though she was next door. When Eva got into her house Maryann was at the door waiting for her answer.
Eva thrash around the house looking for the pictures and whatever she find. She was lucky Kraven wasn't awake or he would of busted her bottom for making such a mess. That was when Eva found a baby picture of herself being held by her mother. Eva slowly walked to the door giving Maryann the picture.
Maryann looked at the picture. She then started to smile., "So, it's true I do have a niece that was hidden from me." She pulled Eva into a hug that made Eva unsure what to do but hugged her back not to be rude. How was she supposed to act? The woman almost ripped her throat out.
Eva told Maryann about her uncle who was going to be up soon and Maryann took her leave asking Eva to come see her tomorrow> Eva agreed but was scared. This woman her Aunt was scary.
